14-Gauge, Stranded Copper Single Conductor, Thermoplastic High Heat and Moisture Resistant PVC Insulation, Abrasion, Moisture, Gasoline, and Oil Resistant Nylon Sheath/Jacket THHN, 600-Volt, also rated MTW and THWN-two. Southwire THHN or THWN-two or MTW copper conductors are annealed soft copper, unilay compressed strand, insulated with a difficult heat and moisture resistant polyvinyl chloride PVC, more than which a nylon polyamide or UL Recognized equal jacket is applied.THWN sizes 14-ten AWG. THWN-two sizes eight AWG and larger. Southwire THHN or THWN-two conductors are mainly implemented in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial or industrial applications as specified in the National Electrical Code. When put to use as Kind THHN, or T90 Nylon conductor is suitable for use in dry places at temperatures not to exceed 90-Degree C. When applied as Kind THWN-two or TWN75, conductor is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90-Degree C or not to exceed 75 -Degree C when exposed to oil. When implemented as Kind MTW, conductor is suitable for use in wet places or when exposed to oil at temperatures not to exceed 60-Degree C or dry areas at temperatures not to exceed 90-Degree C with ampacity limited to that for 75-Degree C conductor temperature per NFPA 79. Conductor temperatures not to exceed 105-Degree C in dry places when rated AWM and used as appliance wiring material or when implemented asT90 Nylon.-Voltage for all applications is 600-Volt.
