Product Description

Amazon.com Review
A deceptively simple-seeking tool, the BoWrench is a boon for both skilled deck builders and do-it-yourselfers. The BoWench provides you a rapidly, 1-person way to straighten decking boards. This is good, given that decking material--no matter if redwood, cedar, or yet another, far more exotic rot-resistant wood--is commonly warped, primarily in 14- to 16-foot lengths. To operate the BoWrench, you basically fit the tool on a joist, swing the lever arm, and release. You can either push or pull boards into alignment, and when the deal with is perpendicular, the tool locks in place, holding the board securely and leaving you no cost to drive nails or screws. The BoWrench is far better than toenailing. Burying nails in the sides of decking to close gaps functions, but it provides water extra strategies to enter the decking, which sooner or later leads to rot. With the BoWrench, you will save time, create a longer-lasting surface, and maximize material. Working with the particular cam attachment (sold separately), the BoWrench replaces the clumsy beater block as the best way to close gaps in tongue-and-groove plywood and paneling. --Jon Groebner
A deceptively easy-looking tool, the BoWrench is a boon for each expert deck builders and do-it-yourselfers. The BoWench gives you a quick, a single-individual way to straighten decking boards. This is outstanding, since decking material--no matter whether redwood, cedar, or another, additional exotic rot-resistant wood--is frequently warped, especially in 14- to 16-foot lengths. To operate the BoWrench, you merely fit the tool on a joist, swing the lever arm, and release. You can either push or pull boards into alignment, and when the manage is perpendicular, the tool locks in spot, holding the board securely and leaving you free to drive nails or screws. The BoWrench is improved than toe nailing. Burying nails in the sides of decking to close gaps works, but it gives water far more ways to enter the decking, which at some point leads to rot. With the BoWrench, you are going to save time, create a longer-lasting surface, and maximize material. Employing the unique cam attachment (sold separately), the BoWrench replaces the clumsy beater block as the top way to close gaps in tongue-and-groove plywood and paneling.

Customer Evaluations

The BoWrench is the ideal decking tool I have ever employed given that its simple to use, and it doesn't mar joists like other ones. As a contractor that builds a couple of decks a year, this has paid for its self a large number of occasions more than. You can attain appropriate gap spacing with out digging via the lumber pile for straight boards(if they exist anymore!). I would highly advise the BoWrench to any deck builder.

All I can say is how could you develop a solid deck out of todays good quality lumber without the need of this tool. It basically costs me dollars to own this tool. Considering the fact that I retired I've been working developing decks and I at all times charge by time and materials. Due to the fact owning the BoWrench I have lost funds because of how tiny effort it takes to flex warped lumber into position for screwing down to the joists. I forgot it one particular day worked eight hrs. and only got a single third of my project completed, remembered it the subsequent day and did the other two thirds in the exact same amount of time. In no way will leave it at home once more.
